Harvest Wreath

We’re having our big Halloween bash in a few weeks but I was feeling a little more Thanksgiving-y this weekend. I’d been flipping through my cache of old Southern Livings and Pottery Barn catalogs and came up with a plan for a fall wreath. I am loving how it turned out! Even better, because the ornaments are unbreakable, it will be a cinch to store!

*October 10, 2012 – Thank you for the wonderful compliments about my wreaths. Unfortunately, I am not making them to sell at this time. I’ve got a tutorial posted here and they are pretty easy to make. Good luck!

  1. Hi Pat! Our Hobby Lobby starts selling Christmas ornaments in late June so I use my 40% off coupons A LOT(!) and stock up on great colors besides traditional Christmas colors. Not sure if they sell online this early as well but it might be worth looking into.
    Thanks!

  2. Hi. I love all of your wreaths. Do you sell them? I’d love to buy one or two for the holidays this year. Thanks!

  3. Hi Stephanie, do you make them and sell them? I want mine to look exactly like the picture and I know that if I make it, it won’t. :) thank you, Michele

  4. Hi Lia,
After doing a little research, it appears that shipping is going to be prohibitive. To properly package the wreath within a box – which are not custom sized, it’s going to cost about $30 to ship to most US locations. I would love to start doing more out of town business but I can’t subsidize the shipping cost to make it more affordable. Since this is not a full time job for me, I believe I am going to stick with selling locally. That all being said, my wreaths have sold locally for $50-60.
    Thank you for your interest!

  6. Hi Rebecca, I do have a hi temp glue gun. I think I got it at Hobby Lobby for $6 or something – and I always use my 40% off coupon! I also glue the ornaments to the wreath itself but also try to attach them to each other where I can for added stability. That might be the trick. Good luck.
